Partner Classification

Full-Time Partners:
Full-time partners are defined as those partners who are scheduled to regularly work a minimum of thirty-two (32) hours per week. Full-time partners qualify for the complete range of benefits and leave accruals, as set forth in this Partner Operating Guide.

Part-Time Partners:
Part-time partners are defined as those partners who are regularly scheduled to work less than thirty-two (32) hours per week.

On-Call Partners:
On-call partners are defined as those partners who are not regularly scheduled to work and are hired on an as-needed basis or on-call. They are not eligible for any benefits other than those required by law.

Rehired Partners:
Rehired partners are defined as those partners who are rehired following a break in service in excess of sixty (60) days, other than an approved leave of absence. They must serve a new introductory period whether or not such a period was previously completed. Such partners are considered new partners from the effective date of their re-employment for all purposes including purposes of measuring benefits (except in the case of pension benefits which are governed by ERISA).

Temporary Partners:
Temporary partners are hired for a specific term or project and are not eligible for any benefits other than those required by law.

Exempt Partners:
Certain executive (i.e., Directors, Managers), administrative, professional and outside sales positions are exempt from any overtime-premium pay.
